Engineering: I am nervous for how my VR world will look, but we finally settled on the idea of having the world based on Queen Anne's Revenge. All our speech blurbs will be actual facts from the real shipwreck. Right now I have two people, Chloe and Alondra, working on the facts, Josh working on the 3D modeling finishing touches, and Mia working on the programming. We will still need another week to work on finishing our world, but I am very happy so far.

Engineering: I am nervous about having enough time to finishing the 3D models in time to let the programmer have enough time to finish the VR world. Right now, my biggest concern is time management. Though, I have a lot of faith in my crew and I'm excited to see me final project.
English: After seeing the reality of what constitutes reliable news, I am now consuming the news critically. I now realize that every piece of news written and recorded is biased and I need to see all sides of the situation before having my own opinion. I think it's very important to form your own opinion based on multiple news sources so we don't changed society to have one opinion. There's something great about having multiple opinions in America instead of just one. 1. During the first project week, I noticed it was hard to talk to a couple people in my group because they're in a different class. I also am having trouble making a rubric to grade my VR world with. I am very glad I hired a co producer to help make these decisions. I don't think I could do all of this work by myself.
2. When working in a distracting place, I like to find a quiet area by myself. I work best when I am not around friends or distracting things like computers or cellphones. I also like to put on a sweater because, oddly enough, I am most focus when I am warm. If I am in a cold room, I am easily distracted. 3. Celebrities or people who have power over us influence our choices whether we like the people or not. If we see a celebrity we like using a product, we will have more influence to buy that product. If we see a government official we don't like visiting a store, we would most likely not want to shop there anymore. Sometimes we make these decisions without even realizing they were influenced by someone else. |
